This aluminum carabiner is a modified "D" shape with a straight, non locking gate. Gate is spring loaded and locks as soon as released to prevent the gate from unlocking or opening due to vibrations. It is light-weight, strong and vesatile with a large nose and generous opening for easy clipping. Ideal for use in sports or tactical applications.
