The rappel techniques key component is the 8 Link, developed by the instructors of our Tactical Rappel Class. It enables the user to extend the Figure 8 descender further from the harness to make room for a safety Prusik Hitch below the descender. A Girth Hitchattaches to the Figure 8. Multiple carabiner slots aid proper length adjustment.
